7 Ways to Stay Fit this Holiday Season

Let’s face it….the holidays are rough on diet and exercise! It is difficult to maintain a healthy diet with all those tempting sweets and goodies around. And it’s hard to find time to exercise with all the parties happening. So instead of fighting it, try these 7 tricks to tackle this time of year! Do a fun run with the family: Many towns offer fun runs on Christmas Eve. These runs are usually around 5k (about 3 miles) and are often centered around raising money for charities. #TBT: 3 Exercises Every Snowboarder Should Complete

Even with the warmer temps, snowboarding season is here! Since it’s probably been a little while since you rode that board, try these 3 exercises to prep the body. Whether you are hitting it hard in the pow or digging your edges into the ice, these exercise are sure to help improve your endurance and technique. 1. Single Leg Squat on a Chair: Standing on a stable chair or stool, place right leg off the side. Then slowly bend your left knee, while keeping your bottom back and pressure on your heel.
