3 Exercises That Look Easy, but Aren’t!

Springtime is here, and that means summer is around the corner. Get your body ready for the warmer weather by trying these simple, yet challenging exercises!

1. Side Plank Clamshell: This exercise is great for toning your core, hips and gluts! It looks simple, but require a good amount of stability and strength. To complete this exercise;

Position yourself on a side, propped on your elbow and forearm. Pull in your abs and lift your hips off the floor, into a side plank position. Now rotate the top knee up and down. Complete 2x20 on each side.

2. Plank Upper Rotations: This exercise will not only challenge your core, but it will also work your arms and shoulder blades. To complete this exercise:

Start in a full plank position with palms and toes on the floor. Pull in your abs, pinch your shoulder blades, and rotate one arm up towards the ceiling with your body. Hold for 3 seconds and complete on the other side. Complete 2x20 on each arm.
